Our Program begins with "Prayer at the Ezcaray Altar" located at the end of the south entrance to the Cathedral, its from the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri in Ezcaray, Spain.

 Visit the "Father Aloysius Altar" Â
 This gilded, black walnut, Spanish Baroque retablo can be traced to 1687 when Domingo Angel, a wealthy Burgos silk-manufacturer, had it installed in the chapel attached to the Congregation of Saint Philip Neri, at Ezcaray, Spain. As a seminarian in Santa Domingo de la Calzada, Aloysius and his Claretians classmates would on occasion visit the oratory and pray the rosary.Â
The chapel was dismantled and sold to a New York art dealer. Later it was purchased for use in the cathedral and reassembled with technical assistance, research services, and financial support provided by the J. Paul Getty Trust.
